We are proud to be in the Semi Final of the World Shoot Out Underwater Photography Competition.

Not having any charming couples to photograph has been odd!  At the same time, we remained positive and this down time has allowed us to focus on personal projects.  Bonnie has been spending a lot of time working on her French and together we also enjoyed some snorkeling & personal photo ops.

This past week we scouted a new location for shooting aquatic photos, not easily accessible but it certainly has potential for some unique shots.  More to come once I finish editing the photos:-)

A while ago, we also prepared some personal photos to enter the World Shout Out competition.

Mission
To award underwater talent UW photographers with prestige’s prizes that they REALLY deserve for their amazing work!
By now, these competitions are already known worldwide as the international Underwater Photo Olympics.
These events are characterized by an extremely high number of participants, uniquely valuable prizes and extraordinary media coverage.
Up until now, competitions were sponsored by SanDisk (2005-7), Epson (2008-11) and HP (2012).
In addition to competitions, our team produces innovative underwater photo projects, based on our vision to stretch technological boundaries, introduce stunning visuals and to realize dreams which initially seem as nearly impossible.
These projects include –
Eilat Red Sea Live Underwater Broadcasts in full HD from the bottom of the Red Sea straight to the Photokina Fair at Cologne, Germany – September, 2010
Underwater 3D breathtaking Videos at the Red Sea in cooperation with FTV – November, 2011
This was our first time entering this competition dedicated to Underwater Photography.  We entered several images in different categories, UW Fashion (something we started a few months ago and available for couples visiting Bora Bora), Wide Angle & Sharks.
We could not be happier and excited to learn 3 of our images in the Shark category made it to the semi-final!  We will know more about our standing in July!
Here are some images we submitted (two of them are available as prints on our Gallery)
