Drone Aquatic photography and video in Bora Bora
We are fortunate to usually have pristine clear water in Bora Bora year round.
Aquatic photography requires good lighting, either natural sunlight or with strobes and we sometime use an Underwater ROV (drone) to provide backlight on our subjects.
Having a back light is also a nice plus for some more artistic shots – For this purpose, we sometime us a mid size Underwater ROV (Drone) which provides LED lighting when needed. Being slower these days allows us to plan our next aquatic shooting as well as practice handling our drone – Yesterday was a fun opportunity, having found a “Blow Fish” in shallow water; we practice staying on target.
While these are very hard to get in close proximity while snorkeling, he was actually quite friendly and un-afraid of the ROV!
Kinda fun to be able to capture UW scenes while being on the surface!
