Summer 2023 planned aquatic photo-shoots / sessions in Connecticut

Engagement – Solo – Maternity – Fashion – Mermaids

Join us for a fun and exciting Aquatic / Underwater photo-shoot! Don’t be afraid to get your wedding dress or Tux wet! Everyone is welcome, this is a perfect opportunity for singles or couples wishing to capture some unique images while floating beneath the surface!

CONNECTICUT – TRUMBULL – AUGUST 2023

We will be conducting GROUP & PRIVATE UNDERWATER photoshoots in TRUMBULL, CT Each session will include coaching, a Zoom or WhatsApp video call to answer your questions and help you prepare for the session. The pool is located in Trumbull in a private home and is ideal for such sessions with a gradual slope, restrooms & a place to change is also available.

GROUP SESSIONS

Limited to a maximum of four participants (couples or solo), 3 hrs on site with each having approximately 45 mins in the water. We would ideally have all participants present at the start of the session for coaching, changing & getting ready etc..

August 12th – 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
August 19th – 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Cost: $295 per participants (pool cost included) – YOU WILL OBTAIN 5 digital edited high resolution photos.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Daytime or Evening on demand depending on pool availability.

COST: $385 per participant (couple or solo) – YOU WILL OBTAIN 5 digital edited photos.

RHODE ISLAND – AUGUST, 6TH 2023

PRIVATE GROUP SESSIONS – in collaboration and coaching provided by Mermaid Jessie Jewels

LOCATION: West Greenwhich, RI
DATE: August 6th – 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM (we will possibly open another session the same day)
Cost: $325 per participant (pool cost included) – YOU WILL OBTAIN 5 digital edited high resolution photos.

CT, NY & NJ – AT YOUR LOCATION & POOL

We would be happy to collaborate with you and give you a special rate as we would not have to factor in Pool cost. Ideally a session would require 45 mins to an hour in the water for each participant with some coaching time.

CONNECTICUT – NORWALK – AUGUST 2023

FOR THE MERMAIDS – IN THE WORKS!

In parallel to these sessions, we are also working in setting up shootings in Norwalk, CT! These sessions would take place in a natural spring fed pool with a sandy bottom, making it ideal to capture mid / air water photos. We are brainstorming with the owner to have a full day “mermaids” day!

Q & A

Non swimmers are welcome. The pool selected is shallow enough and allow you to stand..we will coach you and the shot only requires you to be just below the surface for a few seconds

Formal attire is great, wedding dress or a long light dress that will float is a wonderful idea. Bright Colors such as Red work as well as White. Avoid dark colors, navy blue or black.

The sessions will be limited to a small number of participants to ensure everyone has fun and enough water time and ends up with amazing photos – The first step is to sign up for our mailing list so we can get an idea about the number of participants and to keep you updated. We will then confirm reservation date, a 50% deposit will be required to hold your spot .

We will refund 100% of your deposit within a two week advance notice, 50% of your deposit after that. We believe this to be fair as we have to reserve and pay deposits for the pool rental

Yes in most cases, we would need to know the characteristics of your pool. We would be happy to give you a special rate since we would not have to factor in pool costs. We can also collaborate if you have your own participants

Yes, all photos will be edited. You will receive +/- 10 edited high resolution digital images optimized for prints as well as lower resolution version for Phone, Web, IG etc.

Water resistant makeup is a plus – However we can in some cases re-do the makeup at post processing / editing time if needed on more close up shots

Photo examples, taken in Bora Bora in a natural environment as well as in pools with none of the participants being professional underwater models. If they can do it, so can you!
